Information regarding the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)

Recent storms and flooding have generated increased interest in the availability of flood insurance and the coverage it affords. To that end, FEMA has compiled a list of publications that answer some basic questions about flood insurance:

· “Myths and Facts about the National Flood Insurance Program

· “NFIP: Top Ten Facts for Consumers” and

· “What You Need to Know about Federal Disaster Assistance and National Flood Insurance

(To view these documents, control click on each and scroll down to “Resource File.” This will allow you to download to PDF version.)
